Rory's Story Cubes app good for
Using Story Cubes is great for breaking creative blocks. I even use it to come up with fun stories for with my son. And seeing how the real-life version isnt available in North America yet, Im glad they have an affordable iPhone version.
However, this app could really use some improvement. It would be nice to be able to change the background or dice colours, and the dice themselves deperately need some anti-aliasing. The ability to make notes would be nice. Also, it would be grear to be able to lock certain dice, and reroll the rest.
This review is based on both the game itself and the App. Awesome. Loads of fun for both the kids and adults. My kids keep asking me if we can play Story Cubes. What a great invention. Thanks!
Loving this app! I have the original dice but havent been able to find the other sets so I was thrilled that I could have access to them here. I also love the mobility - got it on both my iPad and iPhone so I can get creative anywhere I go! Hoping you are planning to include the Scooby Doo and Medieval sets soon!
Thanks so much for fixing the bug!! Im so happy to be able to play with all the sets offline now. This is an amazing app; I love having these sets in my pocket. The physics and sounds are so real.
I was hoping the newest sets would be available for purchase, but there are still plenty available for those moments of boredom throughout the day.

Still want to play sixteen cubes, and the ability to select individual cubes. How about a zoom out feature, so its easier to move cubes around? #FanForLife
Ive been a fan of the physical cubes for a while now, in part because they are so innovative. Now I have the app as well, and it does not disappoint. Love this app.
Some bad moments
Id love to use the app, but it always crashes when I try to open. It shows the opening and crash. Ive tested on my iPod Touch 4Gen and iPhone 3GS and the app behaves in the same way. Help!
Sorry, but as soon as the cubes are moved to the corners they start to jump and change their symbol. This is really annoying!!!
As soon as this will be fixed Im happy to give five stars
LOVE the actual physical cubes that we own. Great party game for creative folks. I cant keep the app from crashing for more than 30 seconds though on my 4th Gen ipod touch.
