I love this, except it keeps crashing on the iPad when I try to add in the action cubes. Very frustrating!

Love this app. The Dice rolling is great, bought all oft the available cubes. I would love to see the ability to customze the number of Dice thrown at one time. I know the game calls for 9 cubes, but myself and others are using the cubes for other purposes and it would be nice to have the flexability we have with the RL cubes.

LOVE the actual physical cubes that we own. Great party game for creative folks. I cant keep the app from crashing for more than 30 seconds though on my 4th Gen ipod touch.

The interface is lovely. Very clean and the cubes roll and handle like they would in real life. I also love the fact that the app is much less expensive than the real life cubes. Thus is not something I would have bought if I had to pay the real life price, but wonderfully affordable as an app. Just as FYI, I read about these in the Deutsch Perfekt Magazine.

Provides a virtual means to play when the physical game is not as convenient to bring along. Players have the option to roll cubes by pressing a button in addition to shaking the device, which appealed to me since Im not fond of shaking my electronic devices.

I love that I can now carry the cubes in my pocket. We are using these for foreign language practice. It would be really great if we could select the number of cubes from each set that can be used, since 9 per person is too many for how we are using them. It would also be great to select by individual cubes, so that specific ideograms can be used, based on language levels. If it had those features, I would give it 5 stars!

As a teacher on the go, this is a great substitute to having the physical cubes on hand. That said, the app could use some improved/ added functionality, as mentioned in other reviews. Still waiting on new sets to arrive, too. Its a little worrisome that the app hasnt been updated in so long. It makes me reluctant to spend money on the existing IAP if they cant flow-through on keeping it up to date.

...the option to lock "single" cubes in place would be great. This product would be more than 4 stars for that alone.

Dont delete this if you had downloaded Actions when it was free and still have it unlocked. Updates update: I really hate to give a low star rating, but I think the problem with the Actions set is that it used to be free, and now costs $1.99. I had received it free a couple of years ago and just recently deleted the app and redownloaded it because Actions wouldnt work offline. Now it wont work at all and Apple wants to charge me $1.99. Having used it for free for a couple of years, Im not sure I want to buy it now. The Story Cubes Facebook even made a mention the day before the update reminding people to get Actions while it was still free. Had I known I would lose Actions, I never would have deleted the app. This being said, the people who work at Rorys Story Cubes are fantastic at customer service. I just dont see how they can fix this as Apple doesnt recognize the purchase. Update: Actions, which was previously free, isnt available offline. Ive tried on both my iPad and iPhone. When I start with an Internet connection, Actions is available. When I start the app without an Internet connection, I get a message saying that the store cannot be reached and Actions is unavailable with the message "Buy" next to it. Restoring purchases didnt solve the problem either. So excited for the update! Love the new menu design. The cubes roll great as ever and still make that great sound. Im so happy they added the ability to roll a single die and the ability to choose between 1 and 9 dice instead of having to always roll 9. Its also great to have the story-lock mode. Finally I can rearrange the cubes without having to worry about the icon changing (which happened a lot with me before). The only thing that makes me a little sad was that I was excited to see the newest mix sets on the list until I realized they said "coming soon." Really hope we dont have to wait another couple of years to get those ones too... All in all, this is a great way to make, now a good majority, of the sets available at all times without having to carry a heavy box around. Though nothing beats the texture of the physical cubes, this app gets a top spot in my Writing Apps folder.

I can msg, facebook, tweet, or email a photo but cant save a photo on my iphone? With so many add on cubes (Clues, Actions, Voyages, etc..), and only nine spots, I have two suggestions. 1. Allow us to choose individual cubes to play, or a method to modifiy the percentage of which add ons to use. 2. Increase the maximum number of cubes I can play. Sixteen?
